Materials Flow and Recycling Division
-Design and Control of Materials Flow-

This division analyzes global-scale material flows through international research collaboration, and develops production and recycling processes aiming at rationalization of material circulation. Waste treatments are also investigated for hazardous substances generated in the processing of materials and their final disposal.

● Process development for sustainable materials based on international materials flow
● Analysis of occurrence, immobilization and circulation of hazardous substances
● Development of recycling processes for exhaustible resources
● Improvement of production technology for fundamental materials
